Tiger Academy is a hands on classroom full of interactions and cooperative learning. Students participate in exciting wild life learning opportunities, service learning, and enriched academics in every content area. Students recently participated in helping Manes and Miracles group by spending a service learning day volunteering to support the program. Students went to the Diamond Crater, they enjoyed digging for beautiful crystals at Fisher Mountain in Mt. Ida. Avant Mining was a fantastic experience for all of our class. Google Classroom is used in a blended manner, most assignments are delivered through direct instruction daily. IXL is a mathematics enrichment and remediation software that helps students practice new skills daily. Students are to get a 92% or better daily using the IXL concepts. Chromebooks may be used occassionally to rewatch meaningful and relevant videos that compliment the curriculum being introduced. We are more than a classroom in Tiger Academy, we are an extended family.
Arrival in the classroom may be as early as 7:30 am.
