I went to Mansfield my whole life before graduating from Mansfield High School in 1992.
I graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.
I started teaching at Mansfield in 1997. I taught English for 9 years before switching to social studies. I taught social social studies for 8 years, with another year of English combined. I have been teaching science ever since.
I married my husband, Chuck, in 1999.
We have 4 children. I have two older bonus kids, Brittany and Austin, which are grown and have families of their own. They have given me 4 grandchildren, Jemma, Kase, Jaxx and Bronx.
My son, Layton, graduated from Mansfield High School and now lives in NWA.
My daughter, Addison, is a student here at Mansfield Middle School, a Mansfield Tiger Cheerleader, and plays volleyball and basketball.
I am a die-hard, life-long Tiger fan! So it’s exciting to be the coach for the Lady Tigers Senior High Cheerleaders!
