My name is John Mackey.  I will be teaching 3 sections of Algebra 1, and 3 sections of athletics.   I am the co-athletic director with primary responsibilities dealing with athletic budgets, AAA compliance, and programs. I am the head cross country and girls track & field coach.

I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Bachelor's Degree in Education.  I have additional Graduate hours from Harding University in Searcy. 

Professional organizations I am involved in include Arkansas Activities Association Track and Field Advisory Committee, a member of the Arkansas Officals Association, Arkansas Track Coaches Association, Arkansas Basketball Coaches Association, and a member of the Mansfield Tiger Hall of Fame Selection Committee. 

I have been married to my fabulous wife Debbie Mackey, the former Mansfield High School Secretary, since 1985.  Our daughter is a speech pathologist in Greenwood. Our Grandson is the most important person in our lives.

My passions include Elvis Presley music, and John Wayne movies.
