Floyd Fisher Mansfield Middle School Principal

This is my seventh year as the Mansfield Middle School Principal.  I have been employed by the Mansfield Public School for 21 years.  Prior to my current position, I served as the High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director.  Ten years prior to being the Middle School Principal, I served the district in those two capacities as AP and AD.  My entire career at Mansfield Public School, I have served as the Boys Basketball Coach until three years ago.  During my tenure at Mansfield, I have taught 7th and 8th grade science and physical education.  In my 18 years at the district, I have also been an assistant football coach, head softball coach, and assistant track coach. 

I am married with three children and spend most of time away from school with my family.  We have three active children and are usually in a gymnasium, baseball, or softball field nearly every weekend.  I have been married for 22 years and graduated with my BSE from the University of Central Arkansas.  After several years in education, I returned to education to pursue my Master's in Educational Leadership from Harding University.  I graduated from Arkansas State University in December of 2014 with my EDS in Educational Leadership.

Middle School students are some of the greatest students that are eager to learn and transitioning to that high school level of student.  Our students at Mansfield Middle School bring a smile to my face everyday allowing me to enjoy my job each and everyday.
