School Choice Notification for 2015 - 2016

Note:  The School Choice Deadline has changed to May 1, 2015.

All School Choice Applications must be received or post marked by MAY 1, 2015.

The Mansfield School District is accepting School Choice applications for the 2015 - 2016 school year.  Applications for School Choice must be turned in to the Superintendent’s Office or post marked no later than May 1, 2015.  If you have questions or need additional information, please call (479) 928-4006.  Applications can be picked up and returned to the Superintendent’s Office at 402 Grove Street, Mansfield, AR  72944.

 

MANSFIELD GIFT AND TALENTED NOMINATIONS

If you would like to nominate a 2nd-11th grade student for the Mansfield Gifted and Talented program, you can pick up a nomination packet in the office at the elementary, middle, or high school.  The nomination period is open from March 31st-April 15th.  Please turn in the nomination packet by April 15th to the office at any of the campuses.

ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES TO BE OFFERED AT MHS STARTING SEPTEMBER 30, 2014

In cooperation with the Fort Smith School District, MHS will sponsor adult education evening classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Sept 30. Classes will be held in the library computer lab from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Classes will be held in conjunction with the Mansfield district calendar. In the event of closure due to inclimate weather, that night's adult ed classes will also be cancelled. The Mansfield adult ed classes will compliment classes being held at Greenwood high school on Mondays and Wednesdays. Community patrons can attend either the Greenwood or Mansfield campuses for a combined availability of four nights per week. The classes will be free to adults who want to take the classes to earn their GED, as well as at no charge to our district.
