Western Arkansas Technical Center (WATC)

Mansfield Juniors and Seniors can enroll in WATC (Western Arkansas Technical Center) at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.  There are 11 programs of study to choose from. Students enrolled in WATC take morning classes at MHS and travel to UAFS for afternoon classes.  The District provides transportation by bus to the Fort Smith campus.   Each of the WATC programs lead to professional certification, certificate of proficiency or a technical certificate that provides the student with marketable job skills.  Students can earn up to 40 hours toward an advanced degree or certificate program through participation in WATC.
